Meet Elizabeth
Pet Care Professional & Certified Esthetician

Hi, I’m Elizabeth — a lifelong animal lover and dedicated pet care professional with a strong foundation in compassionate, hands-on animal care. I was raised alongside animals and immersed in the world of veterinary and medical pet support from an early age thanks to my mother, Nicole, the founder of Helping Hands Medical Animal Solutions. That early experience sparked a passion that continues to guide my work today.

Animal care has long been my full-time profession, and I’ve worked with a wide range of pets, offering attentive, reliable care tailored to each animal’s unique needs. From administering medications to providing comfort and companionship, I bring empathy, patience, and experience to every interaction.

In addition to pet care, I’m also a fully certified esthetician, currently exploring my passion for skincare and specializing in hair removal. I approach esthetics with the same care and attention to detail that I bring to working with animals—prioritizing trust, comfort, and personalized service.

Whether I’m supporting a pet or helping a client feel their best, my goal is always to create a calm, respectful environment where every individual—furry or not—feels safe, valued, and cared for

Meet Nathalie 🐾

From a young age, I have always had a deep love and natural connection with animals. Growing up on a farm, caring for animals was simply part of everyday life. I spent much of my childhood surrounded by a variety of animals, learning how to feed them, care for them, and understand their individual personalities and needs. Being around animals felt instinctive to me, and helping care for them quickly became something I truly enjoyed.

As I grew older, my passion for animals only continued to grow. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to care for many different animals, each one teaching me something new. These experiences have helped me develop patience, responsibility, and the ability to make animals feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I understand how important it is for pet owners to know their animals are in caring and capable hands, and I take that responsibility very seriously.

Friends and family often trust me to look after their pets because they know how much attention, compassion, and dedication I bring to every animal I care for. Whether it’s providing daily care, companionship, or simply making sure an animal feels relaxed and secure in their environment, I always aim to treat every pet as if they were my own.

Outside of caring for animals, I enjoy reading and writing, which allows me to relax, learn new things, and express creativity. My lifelong connection to animals and the experiences I gained growing up on a farm have shaped who I am today. Caring for animals continues to be something that brings me genuine joy, and I am grateful for every opportunity to provide safe, attentive, and compassionate care.

Hi, my name is Kira! 🐾

From the time I could talk, animals have always been at the center of my world. Growing up, you could often find me in my room watching Zoboomafoo with my pet iguana, or talking about my dream of working with animals one day. That passion has only grown stronger over the years, as I’ve had the opportunity to care for a wide variety of animals—each one teaching me something new.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have been raised around animals. They’ve taught me not only about their unique personalities and needs, but also about patience, compassion, and who I am as a person.

At home, you’ll usually find me in the kitchen cooking or baking, or relaxing on the couch—never without my shadow nearby. My shadow is my four-year-old Border Collie cross, Cashew. He is my absolute world and truly the best boy. When I’m not working, I love traveling to BC to spend time with my nephew, who means everything to me.

My long-term goal is to become a veterinarian and one day open a clinic or rescue that provides affordable care for all pet owners, with a special focus on treating pet cancer. I truly believe every animal deserves the chance to live a happy, healthy life—and if it were up to me, they’d live forever. ❤️

Meet Ashley

Hi, I’m Ashley, and I am the backbone of maintenance in our home with a true love for animals. Growing up, I was immersed in the dog show world, helping my mom breed, raise, and show Norwegian Elkhounds. That experience sparked a lifelong passion for animals, which has only continued to grow.

While I work most days as an Electrician and Instrumentation Technician, when I’m home, I love giving and receiving cuddles with all our animals—it's my favorite part of the day. I also take pride in tackling the never-ending "honey-do" list, making sure our home is a happy and well-maintained place for everyone.

Meet Kaitlyn

Hi! My name is Kaitlyn. I grew up in Southern Ontario but have spent the last seven years out west between British Columbia and Alberta. I’ve always had a deep love for animals and knew from a young age that I wanted a career helping them. I even started my own pet-sitting business in my neighborhood when I was young.

During high school, I was hired at a veterinary clinic as a kennel attendant, which sparked a strong passion and drive to learn more about veterinary medicine. I went on to graduate from college as a Registered Veterinary Technician, launching a fulfilling and rewarding career in the field.

Over the past 13 years, I’ve worked in multiple animal hospitals and have had the opportunity to care for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, pocket pets, reptiles, and even wildlife.

When I’m not working, you can usually find me in the mountains rock climbing, biking, or hiking with my 100-lb Alaskan Malamute mix, Joey. I also love spending quiet time at home cuddling with Joey and my adorably sassy cat, Miss Kitten. They truly are my world.
